Ingredients:
- 4 hot cross buns
- 8 chocolate marshmallow Easter eggs
- 4 tbsp. Nutella or chocolate spread
- 4 tbsp. butter, softened
Instructions:
- Slice the hot cross buns in half and spread butter on the cut sides.
- Spread Nutella or chocolate spread on one half of the bun, then place 2 chocolate marshmallow Easter eggs on top.
- Cover with the other half of the bun.
- Repeat for the remaining buns.
- Heat up a braai (barbecue) or grill pan to medium heat.
- Grill the broodjies for a few minutes on each side, until the chocolate and marshmallow eggs are melted and the buns are toasted.
- Remove from the heat and let cool for a minute or two before serving.
