This delicious braai recipe for sesame ginger glazed prawns is sure to please. Preheat the grill to 180°C and cook the prawns for 5 minutes each side. In a separate bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, honey and chilli powder. Brush the prawns with the glaze and cook for a further 5 minutes. Serve with your favorite side dish for a tasty meal.
Ingredients:
- 1kg jumbo prawns (peeled and deveined)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon chilli powder
Directions:
- Preheat the grill to 180°C.
- Place the prawns on the grill and cook for 5 minutes each side.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, honey and chilli powder.
- Remove the prawns from the grill and brush with the glaze.
- Place them back on the grill and cook for a further 5 minutes.
- Flip them over and brush the other side with the glaze.
- Cook for a final 5 minutes.
- Serve with your favorite side dish.
