This recipe for Braai-Grilled Short Ribs with Peri-Peri Sauce features succulent, juicy ribs with a unique and spicy flavor. It’s the perfect way to give your grilled ribs a kick!
– 2lbs of beef short ribs
– 1/2 cup of Peri-Peri sauce
– 2 tablespoons of olive oil
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 cloves of garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
– 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
1. Preheat the grill or braai to medium-high heat.
2. Brush the short ribs with the olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
3. Place the ribs onto the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the ribs are nicely browned and cooked through.
4. While the ribs are cooking, prepare the Peri-Peri sauce by combining the garlic, thyme, paprika, and Peri-Peri sauce in a medium bowl.
5. Once the ribs are cooked, brush the Peri-Peri sauce over the ribs and continue to cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce is lightly caramelized.
6. Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
7. Serve the ribs with extra Peri-Peri sauce on the side.
