These Mini Braai Milktarts are the perfect treat for individual servings – made in a mini muffin tin, these individual miltarts are sure to please. The crust is made from a combination of flour, sugar and butter, and the filling is a combination of eggs, cream, sugar and nutmeg.

Ingredients:
– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1/2 cup white sugar
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
– 2 eggs
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1/2 cup white sugar
– 1 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a mini muffin tin with butter.

2. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press the mixture into the greased mini muffin tin.

3. In a separate medium bowl, beat together the eggs, cream, 1/2 cup sugar and nutmeg. Pour the mixture into the mini muffin tin.

4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned.

5. Cool the mini braai miltarts for 10 minutes before removing them from the muffin tin.
