Spicy Braai Coleslaw
This Spicy Braai Coleslaw is an easy and flavorful side dish. It’s made with a mix of crunchy vegetables, jalapenos, and a lime vinaigrette for a zesty kick. Perfect for your next summer BBQ or picnic!
- 1/2 head green cabbage, shredded
- 1/2 head red cabbage, shredded
- 1/2 red onion, finely diced
- 1/2 cup diced jalapenos, fresh or canned
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- In a large bowl, combine the green and red cabbage, red onion, jalapenos, and cilantro.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lime juice, apple cider vinegar, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to combine.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Before serving, adjust the seasoning to taste with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the coleslaw to a serving bowl and garnish with extra cilantro, if desired.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
