This delicious braai milktart is the perfect combination of sweet and savoury. Start by preheating your oven to 350F. Grease a 9-inch round tart pan and set aside. In a medium bowl, mix together the ingredient 1, ingredient 2 and ingredient 3. Pour the mixture into the pre-greased tart pan and bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Once cooled, top with your favorite berry compote. Serve and enjoy!
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 110g butter, melted
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup of your favorite berry compote
- 2 tablespoons milk
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350F.
- Grease a 9-inch round tart pan and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and cinnamon.
- Add in the melted butter and eggs and mix until combined.
- Add in the milk and mix until a smooth dough forms.
- Press the dough evenly into the prepared tart pan.
- Bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Once cooled, top with your favorite berry compote. Serve and enjoy!
