- 1 cup vegan butter
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup plant-based milk
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 3/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish with vegan butter.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the vegan butter, flour, icing sugar, and salt until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pie dish.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- In a large saucepan, whisk together the plant-based milk, cornstarch, coconut sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cardamom, and cloves until smooth.
