This delicious Braai Cajun-Spiced Grilled Prawns recipe is a perfect way to add some spice to your next outdoor meal. The prawns are marinated in a blend of Cajun spices, then grilled to perfection over a medium-hot flame, for a tasty and flavorful meal.
- 1 pound large prawns, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
1. Preheat a braai or outdoor grill to medium-high heat (approximately 180°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine the prawns, Cajun seasoning, olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Toss to combine and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
3. Once the grill is hot, lightly oil the grates and place the prawns on the grill. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the prawns are cooked through and lightly charred.
4. Remove from the heat and serve hot with your favorite sides.
